Description

Yogurt Covered Pretzels are the ultimate sweet-salty snack—crunchy pretzels dipped in a creamy yogurt-sugar coating and dried until crisp. Perfect for lunchboxes, party platters, or edible gifts, these easy homemade treats can be customized with different yogurt flavors and festive toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag miniature pretzels (about 12 oz / 340 g)

  • 2 cups (480 g) strawberry yogurt (or flavor of choice)

  • 5 cups (600 g) confectioners’ sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Place a wire rack over a baking sheet.

  • In a mixing bowl, gradually stir confectioners’ sugar into yogurt until thick and frosting-like.

  • Using chopsticks or tongs, dip pretzels one by one into the coating. Shake off excess and place on the rack.

  • Once coated, place tray in the warm oven with the door slightly open. Let dry for 3–4 hours until firm.

  • Cool completely before storing in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Notes

Adjust sugar if using Greek yogurt—it needs more for balance.

Add sprinkles, crushed nuts, or freeze-dried fruit before drying for color and crunch.

Best eaten within 3 days; refrigeration may reduce crunch.

Not freezer-friendly, as thawing makes them soggy.
