Description

This Grilled Peach and Burrata Crostini is a fresh, elegant summer appetizer made with caramelized grilled peaches, creamy burrata cheese, and a drizzle of spicy honey on toasted baguette slices. Smoky, sweet, creamy, and lightly spiced, it’s the perfect balance of flavors for entertaining or indulging in a quick but sophisticated snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tbsp (13 g) granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp (2.5 g) ground cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp (0.5 g) ground ginger

  • 3 medium fresh peaches, pitted and quartered

  • ½ cup (120 ml) honey

  • 1 tsp (1 g) crushed red pepper flakes

  • 1 tsp (5 ml) apple cider vinegar

  • 8 oz (225 g) fresh burrata cheese, torn

  • 1 (12–16 oz / 340–450 g) French baguette, sliced diagonally and toasted

Instructions

  • Mix sugar, cinnamon, and ginger. Coat cut sides of peaches with the mixture.

  • Grill peaches over medium-high heat for 5–6 minutes until lightly charred. Cool slightly, then slice thinner.

  • Heat honey with red pepper flakes for 2 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in vinegar, let cool.

  • Spread burrata generously on toasted baguette slices. Top with grilled peach slices.

  • Drizzle with spicy honey and serve immediately.

Notes

Use firm, ripe peaches to avoid mushiness when grilling.

Fresh basil leaves make a great garnish.

Prepare grilled peaches and honey ahead; assemble just before serving.

Try nectarines or plums for variation.
