2 tbsp shredded cheese (for topping)

1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dough (If Making Homemade Buns)
-
In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
-
Add flour, salt, melted butter, and egg. Knead for 8-10 minutes until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
Step 2: Make the Dynamite Chicken Filling
-
In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with mayonnaise, cream cheese, hot sauce, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and shredded cheese. Stir until well combined.
Step 3: Assemble the Buns
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
Divide the dough into equal portions (about 8-10 balls).
-
Flatten each dough ball and place a spoonful of the chicken filling in the center. Seal the edges and shape into a bun.
-
Place buns on the baking sheet, seam-side down. Cover and let rise for 15 minutes.
Step 4: Bake the Buns
-
Brush the tops with egg wash (egg yolk + milk) and sprinkle with shredded cheese and sesame seeds.
-
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
-
Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
-
Use store-bought dinner rolls or burger buns for a quicker version.
-
Adjust spice levels by adding more or less hot sauce.
-
