Description

Strawberry Shortcake Puppy Chow is a quick no bake dessert made with Chex cereal, white chocolate, and freeze-dried strawberries for a sweet pink crunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups Rice Chex or Corn Chex cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 ounce freeze-dried strawberries, ground into powder
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Grind freeze-dried strawberries into a fine powder using a food processor.
  2. Mix strawberry powder with powdered sugar until evenly combined and transfer to a gallon freezer bag.
  3. Melt white chocolate chips in 30-second microwave intervals, stirring until smooth.
  4. Gently fold melted chocolate into cereal until evenly coated.
  5. Transfer coated cereal into the bag with strawberry sugar mixture and shake gently to coat.
  6. Spread coated cereal onto a baking sheet and refrigerate for 15 minutes to set.

Notes

  1. Do not overheat white chocolate to prevent seizing.
  2. Avoid crushing cereal while mixing.
  3. Store in airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
  4. Do not refrigerate after setting to maintain crisp texture.
