Description

Easy to assemble Strawberry Pretzel Salad with a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy filling, and strawberry gelatin topping.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 oz strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water and cool to room temperature.
  3. Melt butter, mix with sugar and crushed pretzels.
  4. Press pretzel mixture into a 9×13 pan and bake 10 minutes.
  5. Cool crust completely.
  6. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  7. Fold in whipped topping and spread over crust.
  8. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
  9. Stir strawberries into gelatin.
  10. Pour over cream layer and refrigerate until set.

Notes

  1. Cool gelatin fully before pouring.
  2. Seal cream layer to edges.
  3. Chill completely before slicing.
