Description

Strawberry Marshmallow Frosting is a light, fluffy, and fruity topping made with real strawberries and marshmallow creme. Ready in just 10 minutes, it’s perfect for cupcakes, cookies, cakes, and pancakes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries or 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries
  • 1 cup marshmallow creme
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Puree the fresh strawberries and strain excess liquid, or grind freeze-dried strawberries into a powder.
  2. Beat the softened butter until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add marshmallow creme and continue beating until well blended.
  4. Mix in the strawberry puree or powder until smooth.
  5. Gradually add powdered sugar while mixing on low speed.
  6. Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  7. Increase mixer speed to medium-high and beat until fluffy with soft peaks.
  8. Chill for 10-15 minutes before piping if desired.

Notes

  1. Add more strawberry puree or powder for stronger flavor.
  2. Always strain fresh strawberries to remove excess moisture.
  3. Chill slightly before piping for best decorative results.
