Description

Juicy steak and shrimp kabobs brushed with garlic butter and bold Creole seasoning, perfect for grilling or a BBQ dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound steak, cut into chunks
  • 1 pound large shrimp, deveined and shells removed
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Creole seasoning, to taste
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Cut steak into evenly sized chunks and prepare shrimp.
  2. Place steak and shrimp in a bowl and toss with olive oil and Creole seasoning.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix butter, parsley, garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and lemon zest.
  4. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Thread steak and shrimp onto skewers.
  6. Grill kabobs, turning every few minutes for even cooking.
  7. Brush garlic butter over kabobs while cooking.
  8. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness and shrimp turns pink and opaque.
  9. Remove from grill and brush with remaining garlic butter before serving.

Notes

  1. Soak wooden skewers in water before grilling.
  2. Avoid overcooking shrimp to prevent rubbery texture.
  3. Use fresh garlic and parsley for better flavor.
