- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup yellow cornmeal
- 15 ounces canned salmon
- 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
- ½ cup sweet onion, diced
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon seasoned salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Whisk flour and cornmeal together in a large bowl.
- Add salmon, bell pepper, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, seasoning, garlic powder, mayonnaise, and cilantro.
- Mix until well combined.
- Shape mixture into 6–8 patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook patties for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Serve immediately.

- Do not overcrowd the skillet.
- Use cast iron for best browning.
