These sesame garlic ramen noodles skip the seasoning packet and use a quick homemade sauce for bold, savory flavor.

- 4 blocks ramen noodles (12 oz total), seasoning packets discarded
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Sliced green onions, for serving
- Sesame seeds, for serving
Instructions
- Cook ramen noodles according to package directions and discard seasoning packets
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat
- Add minced garlic and cook, stirring, for 1 to 2 minutes
- Stir in brown sugar and soy sauce
- Add cooked noodles and toss to coat evenly
- Serve immediately and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds
Notes
- Do not overcook the garlic
- Add a splash of noodle water if sauce thickens
