Description

A quick and flavorful sauteed zucchini recipe made with butter, garlic, and fresh zucchini in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound zucchini, sliced slightly less than 1/2 inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add zucchini in a mostly single layer and cook 4 to 5 minutes, stirring only once or twice.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and push zucchini to the sides of the pan.
  4. Add butter to the center and let it melt.
  5. Add minced garlic and cook about 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Stir everything together.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Cook briefly until butter coats the zucchini.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  1. Do not overcrowd the skillet.
  2. Stir only occasionally for better browning.
  3. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
