Description
This hearty and creamy beef pasta dish combines savory beef, sautéed peppers and onions, and a smooth cheese sauce topped with melted provolone.

- 1 lb ground beef or steak strips
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 12 oz penne or rigatoni pasta
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté bell pepper, onion, and garlic for 4-5 minutes.
- Add ground beef or steak strips and cook until fully browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Stir in cream cheese and beef broth. Cook while stirring until smooth and creamy.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in sauce.
- Sprinkle provolone cheese on top and broil for 3-5 minutes until melted and golden.
- Remove from oven and serve hot.
Notes
- Do not overcook the pasta to maintain texture.
- Use room temperature cream cheese for smoother melting.
- Add a splash of Worcestershire sauce for deeper flavor if desired.
