Description

This Pepperoni Pizza Monkey Bread is a fun, pull-apart appetizer or snack that’s loaded with gooey cheese, zesty pepperoni, and delicious pizza flavor. Each bite-sized dough ball is stuffed with mozzarella and pepperoni, coated in garlic butter, and baked to golden perfection. Perfect for game nights, parties, or a family-friendly treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (16 oz total) refrigerated biscuit dough, cut into quarters
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup mini pepperoni slices (or chopped pepperoni)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  • Preheat & Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan or a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Prepare Dough Balls: Flatten each biscuit piece slightly, then place a small pinch of mozzarella and a couple of pepperoni slices in the center. Fold and pinch the edges to seal into a ball.
  • Make Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
  • Coat Dough Balls: Toss the stuffed dough balls in the garlic butter mixture until well coated.
  • Assemble in Pan: Layer half of the dough balls into the greased pan, sprinkle with half of the Parmesan cheese, then repeat with the remaining dough balls and Parmesan.
  • Bake: Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Cool & Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • You can add other pizza toppings like diced bell peppers, mushrooms, or cooked sausage for extra flavor.
  • If you don’t have biscuit dough, you can use pizza dough cut into small pieces.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven at 300°F (150°C) for 10 minutes.
