Description

Peanut butter truffles are rich, creamy, and chocolatey treats that are simple to make. These no-bake bites are perfect for holidays, gifts, or just a quick indulgence. With a smooth peanut butter filling and a glossy chocolate coating, they’re a sweet and salty delight everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

  • 2½ cups powdered sugar

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ⅛ teaspoon salt

  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate bars (about three 4-ounce bars)

  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

  • Optional: sprinkles or chopped nuts for topping

Instructions

  • Mix peanut butter, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt in a large bowl until smooth.

  • Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.

  • Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.

  • Freeze the balls for 15 minutes.

  • Melt chocolate and coconut oil together.

  • Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and return it to parchment paper.

  • Let the chocolate set at room temperature or refrigerate to speed up the process.

  • Optionally, sprinkle chopped nuts or toppings before the chocolate hardens.

Notes

You can use vegan butter and dairy-free chocolate for a dairy-free version.

For a healthier option, try a sugar substitute like erythritol.

Feel free to experiment by adding flavorings like cinnamon, coffee, or even chili powder.
