- 1 tablespoon baking powder

- 5 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 cup peeled peaches, diced
- 3/4 cup light cream
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons light cream
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt together in a mixing bowl.
- Cut cold butter into the flour mixture until coarse crumbs form.
- Stir peaches into the mixture until coated with flour.
- Pour in cream and fold gently until a soft dough forms.
- Transfer dough to a floured surface and shape into a rectangle.
- Cut dough into 12 triangle-shaped scones.
- Place scones on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 13 to 16 minutes until lightly golden brown.
- Cool scones on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
- Whisk confectioners sugar, cream, and vanilla to make the glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over cooled scones before serving.

- Keep butter cold for flaky texture.
- Pat peaches dry before mixing into dough.
