- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 tablespoons cold unsalted butter
- 3 to 5 ripe peaches, sliced thick
- Whipped cream for serving
Instructions
- Heat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and grease an 11-inch tart pan.
- Mix flour, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
- Whisk oils, milk, and almond extract in another bowl.
- Combine wet and dry mixtures gently until dough forms.
- Press dough evenly into tart pan and up the sides.
- Mix remaining sugar, flour, salt, and butter until crumbly.
- Arrange peach slices over crust in overlapping circles.
- Sprinkle crumble topping evenly over peaches.
- Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Cool slightly before serving with whipped cream.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm peaches for best texture.
- Add extra flour if peaches release too much juice.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
