Description

Simple homemade peach sorbet made with ripe peaches, sugar, and lemon juice for a refreshing frozen summer dessert without an ice cream maker.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 800 g ripe yellow peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 200 g caster sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Slice and peel the peaches.
  2. Add peaches and sugar to a food processor and blend until smooth.
  3. Scrape down the sides as needed while blending.
  4. Add lemon juice gradually and taste until balanced.
  5. Transfer mixture to a freezer-safe container.
  6. Freeze for 6 to 7 hours until firm.
  7. Let soften slightly before scooping and serving.

Notes

  1. Add lemon juice gradually for balanced flavor.
  2. Maintain a 4:1 fruit-to-sugar ratio for the best texture.
  3. Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
  4. Allow sorbet to soften before serving for easier scooping.
