Description
Sweet and slightly tangy homemade peach lemonade made with fresh peaches, lemons, and a hint of vanilla.

- 3 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 6 cups cold water, divided
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- Ice, optional
- Lemon slices for garnish
- Fresh peach slices for garnish
- Fresh mint for garnish
Instructions
- Combine peaches, lemon zest, vanilla extract, sugar, and 2 cups water in a saucepan.
- Cook gently for 15 to 25 minutes until peaches soften.
- Mash peaches thoroughly.
- Cool mixture completely in the refrigerator.
- Strain solids from the mixture.
- Stir in lemon juice and remaining 4 cups cold water.
- Add ice if desired.
- Serve with lemon slices, peach slices, and mint.
Notes
- Leave up to 1/2 cup pulp for stronger peach flavor.
- Do not boil the peach mixture.
- Store refrigerated for up to 4 days.
- Stir before serving.
