- 3 cans peaches in heavy syrup (15 ounces each)
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, thinly sliced
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Drain 2 cans of peaches and leave 1 can undrained.
- Spread peaches evenly into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle cinnamon evenly over peaches.
- Cover peaches with dry cake mix and gently press down evenly.
- Sprinkle brown sugar over the cake mix.
- Arrange thin butter slices evenly across the top.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans over the butter.
- Bake for 1 hour until golden brown and bubbly.
- Cover loosely with foil if pecans brown too quickly.
- Let rest several minutes before serving warm.

- White cake mix can replace yellow cake mix if preferred.
