- 8 cups peeled and thinly sliced fresh peaches
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, divided
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup salted butter, room temperature
- 1 3/4 cups old-fashioned oats
- Vanilla ice cream for serving, optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and butter a 9×9 baking dish.
- Mix peaches, granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, cornstarch, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
- Spread peach mixture into prepared baking dish.
- Mix brown sugar, remaining flour, butter, and remaining cinnamon until clumpy.
- Stir oats into topping mixture until coarse crumbs form.
- Sprinkle topping evenly over peaches.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until topping is golden and filling bubbles.
- Rest for 10 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm peaches for best texture.
- Frozen peaches should be thawed and drained before using.
- Store leftovers refrigerated for up to 4 days.
