- 12 soft taco shells
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar and Monterey Jack)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 can refried beans (optional)
- 1/2 cup salsa
- Toppings: sour cream, guacamole, fresh cilantro, chopped onions, or lettuce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Warm the taco shells in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.
- Layer a small handful of shredded cheese in the bottom of each taco shell.
- Add your taco filling (ground beef, chicken, or beans) to each shell.
- Top with more shredded cheese.
- Place the filled taco shells on a baking sheet, standing up.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the taco shells are golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and add your favorite toppings like sour cream, salsa, lettuce, and cilantro.

- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
