Description

Orange Creamsicle Cookies are soft, citrusy cookies filled with white chocolate chips for a creamy, refreshing dessert.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl
  3. Cream butter and sugars until light
  4. Add egg and vanilla and mix well
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients
  6. Stir in orange zest and white chocolate chips
  7. Drop dough onto baking sheets
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until edges are golden
  9. Cool on pan then transfer to rack

Notes

  1. Do not flatten cookies before baking
  2. Avoid overbaking to keep cookies soft
  3. Use fresh orange zest for best flavor
