Description

One Pot Spaghetti is a quick and budget friendly dinner made with ground beef, marinara sauce, and pasta cooked together in one pot for easy cleanup and rich flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 jars (24 oz each) marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 12 oz spaghetti noodles
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion in a large pot and drain excess grease.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce, oregano, salt, pepper, and chicken broth and bring to a simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Break spaghetti noodles in half and stir into the sauce.
  5. Simmer for 12-15 minutes stirring frequently.
  6. Cook an additional 1-2 minutes until pasta is al dente.
  7. Top with Parmesan cheese and serve.

Notes

  1. Use homemade marinara sauce if preferred.
  2. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 5-7 days.
  3. Add extra broth when reheating to loosen the sauce.
