Description

One Pan Garlic Chicken cooked in garlic butter with lemon and asparagus for a fast, flavorful skillet dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 lb asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh Italian parsley, minced

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper.
  2. Melt half of the butter with olive oil in a skillet over medium-low heat.
  3. Cook the chicken until golden on all sides, then add half the garlic and Italian seasoning and cook briefly.
  4. Remove the chicken and deglaze the pan with chicken broth.
  5. Add remaining butter, lemon juice, and sriracha to the skillet.
  6. Add asparagus and cook until tender.
  7. Return the chicken to the pan and cook until heated through.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

  1. If substituting table salt for kosher salt, reduce the amount to avoid excess saltiness.
