Description
These mini chocolate chip cookies are the perfect two-bite treat with crisp edges, soft centers, and plenty of chocolate in every bite.
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3 egg yolks, from large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
2. Add egg yolks one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
3. Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt.
4. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
5. Chill dough 10–15 minutes if desired.
6. Roll dough into a log and cut into 3/4-inch pieces, or pinch small portions.
7. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a sheet with parchment.
8. Bake 5–8 minutes until edges turn golden.
9. Cool on sheet, then transfer to rack.
Notes
Bake 8 minutes for crisp edges.
Bake 5–6 minutes for soft centers.
Store airtight for one week or freeze longer.
Add flaky sea salt after baking for extra flavor.
