Description

This Low Carb Philly Cheesesteak Casserole is a cheesy, savory dinner loaded with steak and veggies. Make ahead for a comforting, protein-rich meal!

Ingredients

Scale

2 lbs ground beef

1 large onion, diced

2 large bell peppers (green, red, or a mix), diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

8 oz cream cheese

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

8 oz provolone cheese, sliced

1½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

1. Prepare the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick spray.

2. Cook the Vegetables: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add onions and peppers; cook 5–6 minutes. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.

3. Brown the Beef: Add ground beef, season, and cook until browned, about 7–8 minutes.

4. Add Seasonings: Stir in Worcestershire sauce.

5. Incorporate Cream Cheese: Reduce heat; melt cream cheese into mixture.

6. Transfer to Baking Dish: Spread mixture into dish.

7. Top with Cheese: Add provolone and mozzarella.

8. Bake: Bake 20–25 minutes until bubbly.

9. Rest: Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can use sliced steak instead of ground beef. Adjust peppers or cheese to taste.
