- 1 large head broccoli cut into florets
- 1½ tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice
- ⅓ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil and blanch broccoli for 3 to 4 minutes until bright green and tender crisp
- Drain broccoli and set aside
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat
- Add minced garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant
- Add broccoli and season with salt pepper and onion powder
- Toss to coat evenly in garlic butter
