- 1 tablespoon vodka (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the ice cream machine according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Combine water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until the sugar completely dissolves.
- Allow the syrup to cool, then refrigerate until cold.
- Add the chilled syrup, lemon juice, lemon zest, and optional vodka to the ice cream maker.
- Churn for about 15 minutes until slushy.
- Serve immediately for a soft texture or transfer to a freezer-safe container.
- Freeze for one hour and stir.
- Continue freezing until the desired sorbet consistency is reached.
- Serve with an ice cream scoop.
