Description

Easy Korean Strawberry Milk made with fresh strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and non-dairy milk for a refreshing cafe-style drink.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound strawberries, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup cane or brown sugar
  • Squeeze of lemon juice
  • 23 cups unsweetened non-dairy milk

Instructions

  1. Divide strawberries into two portions
  2. Mix 3/4 cup strawberries with 1 tbsp sugar and let sit
  3. Cook remaining strawberries with sugar and lemon juice for 10 minutes
  4. Cool the syrup completely in the refrigerator
  5. Add syrup to glass with milk and ice
  6. Top with macerated strawberries and stir

Notes

  1. Do not overcook syrup
  2. Use fresh strawberries for best flavor
  3. Adjust sweetness to taste
  4. Store syrup separately for freshness
