Instructions

Rinse jalapeños under cold water and pat dry.

Decide how you’ll use them later—leave whole, slice, or chop.

Optional Flash Freeze: Spread in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 1–2 hours.

Transfer frozen peppers to labeled freezer bags or airtight containers.

Quick Pack Method: Skip flash freezing and pack directly into containers, pressing out air.

Freeze at 0°F (-18°C) or below. Use within 6 months for best quality.
Notes
Gloves prevent irritation when handling raw jalapeños.
