Ingredients
Hot Honey:
-
1/4 cup honey
-
1 tsp hot sauce (e.g., Frank’s or Cholula)
-
1/2 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
Flatbread Pizzas:
-
2 garlic flatbreads
-
1/2 cup pizza sauce
-
2 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella
-
12 slices of pepperoni
-
Optional: sliced black olives, fresh jalapeños
Instructions
-
Preheat Oven:
Preheat to 430°F (220°C). Place a baking tray in the oven to heat up for crispier crusts. -
Make Hot Honey:
Mix honey, hot sauce, and chili flakes in a bowl. Warm briefly (microwave or stovetop) until just simmering. Let cool slightly. -
Assemble Pizzas:
Spread sauce over flatbreads. Top with mozzarella, pepperoni, and any optional toppings. Add extra cheese over pepperoni to prevent curling. -
Bake:
Place pizzas on the preheated tray and bake for 8–10 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and edges are golden. -
Finish & Serve:
Drizzle with hot honey. Slice and serve warm.
Notes
Substitute garlic flatbreads with naan or pita.
Use less chili or hot sauce for milder flavor.
Store leftover honey in a sealed jar for future use—it’s great on fried chicken too!
Preheating the baking tray ensures crispy results.
