Hot Honey Chicken Bowl with sweet and spicy glazed chicken, roasted broccoli, fresh cabbage, and fluffy rice.

- 1 lb chicken breast cut into 1-inch pieces
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup Texas Pete hot sauce
- 1 head broccoli cut into florets
- 1 1/2 cups shredded purple cabbage
- 2 cups cooked rice
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, red pepper flakes, honey, hot sauce, and 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Reserve half of the sauce. Toss chicken in remaining sauce and marinate 15 minutes.
- Toss broccoli with 1 tablespoon olive oil and remaining salt and pepper.
- Roast broccoli 15–20 minutes until tender and lightly charred.
- Heat remaining olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook chicken 5–7 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Brush chicken with reserved hot honey sauce.
- Assemble bowls with rice, cabbage, broccoli, and chicken. Garnish with parsley.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the skillet to achieve proper sear.
- Adjust heat level by increasing or decreasing hot sauce and red pepper flakes.
- Store leftovers in airtight containers up to 3 days.
