- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup pure honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Optional chili flakes, to taste
- Green onions, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente, then drain.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken, season with black pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through.
- Add garlic and sliced bell pepper and cook until fragrant.
- Pour in honey and soy sauce and let the mixture simmer until slightly thickened.
- Add cooked pasta and optional chili flakes and toss until evenly coated.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- Slice chicken evenly so it cooks at the same rate.
- Use freshly cracked black pepper for better flavor.
- Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce becomes too thick.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
