Description
Tender beef slices coated in a glossy honey-soy glaze, served with crispy roasted potatoes seasoned with garlic and paprika.
Ingredients
500g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
1 tbsp olive oil
4 medium potatoes, diced into chunks
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. Toss diced potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika. Spread on a baking tray.
3. Roast for 25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
4. Meanwhile, heat a skillet over medium heat and sear beef slices for about 3 minutes, until no longer pink.
5. Add honey, soy sauce, and garlic. Let the sauce bubble for 5 minutes, coating the beef.
6. Serve beef over roasted potatoes, spooning sauce over the top.
Notes
Swap beef for chicken thighs or tofu for variation.
Add chili flakes for heat or a splash of rice vinegar for tanginess.
Broccoli, carrots, or green beans make great add-ins.
Store beef and potatoes separately to keep potatoes crisp.
For extra sauce, add a splash of water or broth while simmering.
