These Healthy No-Bake Energy Balls are chewy, quick, and naturally sweet with rolled oats, creamy peanut butter, chia seeds, and maple syrup. Make them in 5 minutes for an easy snack, lunch box treat, or meal prep bite.

- 1 cup rolled oats or quick oats
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter, or allergy-friendly substitute
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup, honey, or agave
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- Optional handful mini chocolate chips or raisins
Instructions
- If the peanut butter is not soft, gently warm it until easy to stir.
- Add the oats, chia seeds, and salt to a medium mixing bowl, then stir until evenly combined.
- Stir in the peanut butter and maple syrup until the mixture looks evenly coated and slightly sticky.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips or raisins, if using.
- Scoop small portions and roll firmly into 16 energy balls.
- Serve right away, or chill for a firmer texture.
- Store leftovers in a covered container at room temperature, in the refrigerator, or in the freezer.
Notes
- Use certified gluten-free oats if needed.
- If the mixture feels dry, add a teaspoon of maple syrup or a small spoonful of peanut butter.
- If the mixture feels too wet, add a few more oats.
- For a nut-free version, use sunflower seed butter.
