Description

Creamy Hawaiian Rice Pudding made with pineapple, coconut, whipped topping, and sweet rice for an easy tropical dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups warm cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1/3 cup shredded coconut
  • 8 ounces whipped topping, thawed

Instructions

  1. Place warm cooked rice into a large bowl.
  2. Stir in brown sugar until fully dissolved.
  3. Add crushed pineapple with the juice and mix well.
  4. Cover and chill the mixture for at least 1 hour.
  5. Fold in shredded coconut and whipped topping just before serving.
  6. Serve chilled.

Notes

  1. Use warm rice so the brown sugar melts evenly.
  2. Do not add whipped topping while the rice is warm.
  3. Chill overnight for deeper flavor.
  4. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
