Description

A creamy chicken sauce served over rice with customizable toppings, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 10.5 ounces canned cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 cooked chicken breasts, chopped or canned chunk chicken
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Cooked white rice

Instructions

  1. Combine cream of chicken soup and chicken broth in a saucepan and warm over medium-low heat.
  2. Add cooked chicken and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Lower heat and stir in sour cream until smooth.
  4. Serve over rice with desired toppings.

Notes

  1. Freeze cooled sauce in a freezer bag for up to six months.
  2. Thaw in the refrigerator and reheat gently on the stove.
