- 1 pound sirloin steak cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine cubed sirloin steak with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl and marinate for 30 minutes
- Toss shrimp with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl
- Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat and add minced garlic cooking briefly until fragrant
- Remove saucepan from heat and stir in parsley, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to make the garlic butter sauce
- Thread steak and shrimp onto skewers alternating pieces
- Preheat grill to medium high heat and grill skewers for 3 to 4 minutes per side
- Remove from grill and drizzle garlic butter sauce over skewers before serving
Notes
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or onions for variation
- Brush extra garlic butter over skewers after grilling for stronger flavor
