Description

A classic Green Bean Casserole made with tender green beans, creamy mushroom soup, and crispy fried onions, ready with just five simple ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup 2% milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 4 cups cooked cut green beans
  • 1 1/3 cups French fried onions

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 350°F
  2. Mix soup, milk, soy sauce, green beans, and 2/3 cup onions in a casserole dish
  3. Bake for 25 minutes until hot and bubbling
  4. Stir the mixture and top with remaining onions
  5. Bake 5 minutes until onions are golden brown

Notes

  1. Blanch fresh green beans before using
  2. Drain beans well to avoid excess liquid
  3. Let casserole rest a few minutes before serving
