Description

Buttery, flaky Southern-style gluten free peach cobbler made with simple ingredients and juicy peaches.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk of choice
  • 34 cups sliced peaches
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Place butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish and melt in oven.
  3. Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk until batter is smooth.
  5. Pour batter over melted butter without stirring.
  6. Arrange peaches evenly over batter.
  7. Sprinkle remaining sugar over peaches.
  8. Bake 45 to 55 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Rest 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  1. Fresh, frozen, or canned peaches all work well.
  2. Thaw frozen peaches before using.
  3. Drain and rinse canned peaches thoroughly.
