- 1.5 cups light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons cornstarch

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup unsalted butter (frosting)
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (frosting)

Instructions
- Bring butter and eggs to room temperature
- Whisk flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt
- Cream butter and sugars until fluffy
- Add eggs and vanilla and mix well
- Gradually add dry ingredients and mix
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Chill dough for several hours or overnight
- Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare pan
- Press dough evenly into pan
- Add extra chocolate chips on top
- Bake for 16 minutes until edges are golden
- Cool completely before frosting
- Beat frosting ingredients until smooth
- Decorate and serve
