Description

Garlic Butter Steak with Parmesan cream sauce is a rich and satisfying dish featuring juicy ribeye steaks topped with a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ribeye steaks (1-inch thick, about 8 oz each)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Season steaks with salt and pepper on both sides
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and melt butter
  3. Place steaks in skillet and cook 4-5 minutes on one side
  4. Flip steaks, add remaining butter and garlic, cook another 4-5 minutes
  5. Remove steaks and let them rest for 5 minutes
  6. Reduce heat and add heavy cream to skillet, whisking
  7. Add Parmesan cheese and whisk until sauce thickens
  8. Season sauce to taste
  9. Slice steaks, serve, and top with sauce and parsley

Notes

  1. Let steak rest before slicing to retain juices
  2. Use freshly grated Parmesan for smoother sauce
  3. Avoid overheating cream to prevent separation
