12 oz steak (sirloin, ribeye, or flank), sliced thin

8 oz egg noodles, linguine, or rice noodles

4 tbsp unsalted butter

4–5 garlic cloves, minced

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp cooking oil (for steak)

Instructions

Cook the Noodles:
Boil noodles in salted water until just tender. Drain and toss with a little oil. Set aside. -
Cook the Steak:
Heat a pan over high heat. Add oil.
Season steak with salt and pepper.
Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned.
Remove from heat. Let rest. Slice thin across the grain. -
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
Lower heat. Add butter to the same pan. Let it melt.
Stir in minced garlic. Cook for 30 seconds.
Add soy sauce and oyster sauce. Let it bubble briefly. Turn off heat. -
Combine and Finish:
Add noodles to the sauce. Toss to coat.
Add steak slices. Mix gently.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, or chili flakes if desired.
