Description

A creamy frozen chocolate drink that blends classic hot cocoa flavor with an icy milkshake texture, perfect for cooling off on warm days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup hot chocolate powdered mix
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 5 cups ice
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Add the heavy cream, whole milk, hot chocolate mix, chocolate syrup, powdered sugar, and ice to a blender.
  2. Pulse until thick and textured like a milkshake, not completely smooth.
  3. Pour evenly into four glasses.
  4. Top generously with whipped cream.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

  1. Heavy whipping cream gives the richest flavor, but milk or half-and-half can be used instead.
  2. Chocolate milk can replace both the milk and chocolate syrup if preferred.
  3. Do not over-blend or the drink will become watery.
  4. Fill glasses about three-quarters full to leave room for whipped cream.
  5. The drink can be frozen ahead without whipped cream and thawed before serving.
