Description

Fresh Peach Syrup is a sweet homemade syrup perfect for pancakes, waffles, drinks, desserts, and more.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the peaches into small pieces.
  2. Add peaches, sugar, and water to a medium saucepan.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat.
  4. Boil for 3 minutes while stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and allow the syrup to cool for 30 minutes.
  6. Press the mixture through a fine mesh sieve.
  7. Pour the syrup into a clean glass jar with a lid.
  8. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.

Notes

  2. Add lemon juice for a brighter taste.
