French Onion Beef Casserole made with ground beef, egg noodles, cream of mushroom soup, and French onion dip for a rich, comforting family dinner.

- 10 ounces dried egg noodles
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup (10.75 ounces each)
- 1 jar Lay’s French Onion Dip (15 ounces)
- 1/2 cup French’s fried onions
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook egg noodles according to package directions and drain well.
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, season with salt and pepper, and drain excess grease.
- Stir cream of mushroom soup and French onion dip into the beef until combined.
- Gently fold cooked noodles into the beef mixture.
- Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle fried onions evenly over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 20 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Serve warm and garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
- Do not overcook the noodles, as they will continue to soften while baking.
- Drain the beef thoroughly to prevent excess grease in the casserole.
- This dish can be assembled ahead of time and baked when ready to serve.
- Leftovers keep well refrigerated for up to three days.
