20 oz ground turkey

1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes in oil, minced and drained

1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

2 garlic cloves, grated

1/2 tsp black pepper

4 slices (1-inch thick) part-skim fresh mozzarella

4 whole wheat hamburger buns

1/4 cup pesto (store-bought or homemade)

1/4 cup baby arugula
Instructions

Preheat the grill to high (about 450°F).

Make patties by gently mixing ground turkey with sun-dried tomatoes, Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 equal patties.

Grill burgers 3–4 minutes per side until browned and internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Top with cheese during the last minute, then cover the grill briefly to melt.

Assemble on buns with pesto and arugula. Serve hot.
Notes
Avoid overmixing to keep burgers tender.
Lightly oil grill grates to prevent sticking.
