Description

This Crockpot Peach Butter recipe creates a rich and smooth peach spread with simple ingredients and very little effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 810 peaches, peeled and pitted
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, optional

Instructions

  1. Peel the peaches, remove the pits, and cut into large chunks.
  2. Place peaches into a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
  3. Transfer the peach puree into the slow cooker.
  4. Stir in sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon if using.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
  6. For thicker peach butter, remove the lid and cook on high for 1 additional hour.
  7. Allow the peach butter to cool slightly before transferring to jars or containers.

Notes

  1. Store peach butter in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
  2. Freeze for longer storage if desired.
  3. For thicker consistency, cook uncovered during the final hour.
