Description

Crockpot Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is the ultimate creamy comfort food for busy weeknights. Made with tender shredded chicken, a velvety garlic-Parmesan sauce, and your favorite pasta, it’s a low-effort, high-reward recipe the whole family will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, cubed

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • 12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or your favorite)

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half

  • Optional: chopped parsley or extra Parmesan for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add chicken breasts to the crockpot. Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  2. Pour in chicken broth, then top with Parmesan, cubed cream cheese, and minced garlic.

  3. Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours, until chicken is very tender.

  4. Shred the chicken directly in the crockpot and stir until creamy.

  5. Cook pasta separately according to package directions, then drain and stir into the chicken mixture.

  6. Add the heavy cream or half-and-half and stir until smooth and well combined.

  7. Garnish with parsley or more Parmesan and serve warm.

Notes

Roasted garlic can be used for a deeper flavor.

Add baby spinach or steamed broccoli at the end for a veggie boost.

For a shortcut, replace cream cheese with thick Alfredo sauce.

Any pasta shape works—choose your favorite.
