Description

This creamy mango mousse features fresh mango puree, whipped cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla pudding mix for a smooth no-gelatin dessert.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups cold heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups mango puree
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup reserved mango puree for topping

Instructions

  1. Blend mangoes until smooth and reserve 1/2 cup puree for topping.
  2. Whip cold heavy cream, powdered sugar, and pudding mix until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold mango puree gently into the whipped cream.
  4. Pipe or spoon mousse into five serving glasses.
  5. Cover and chill for at least 5 hours.
  6. Top with reserved puree, whipped cream, or fresh fruit before serving.

Notes

  1. Use very cold heavy cream.
  2. Choose ripe sweet mangoes.
  3. Chill for at least 5 hours or overnight.
  4. Adjust sugar if mangoes are tart.
  5. Store refrigerated for up to 3 days.
