Description

Creamy cranberry chicken salad made with tender chicken, dried cranberries, celery, nuts, and a smooth Dijon dressing.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley, optional

Instructions

  1. Combine chicken, cranberries, celery, red onion, and nuts in a large bowl.
  2. Whisk mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour dressing over chicken mixture and toss until evenly coated.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Garnish with parsley and serve as desired.

Notes

  1. Use leftover or rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  2. Chilling the salad improves overall flavor.
  3. Add nuts just before serving if making ahead.
